UCLA isn't as good of a school as Cal. That is a fact. There is a reason why a) cal has more applicants, b) cal is rated higher in every publication, and c) cal is harder to get into. Even the most delusional of bruin alumns realize this.

I dunno about that. Most people outside the state of California just accept that UCLA is practically impossible to get in to based solely on academic achievments if you live in the other states.

I'm not from Tennessee, I don't care. Living in Oregon affords me the opportunity to not have to live with a bunch of grads babble on about how Vanderbilt is on the same level as an Ivy League school.

I have a friend who attended Pepperdine, and have been to the other colleges on that list except for Stanford. They are extremely nice campuses. So I must have missed it, you work for a nationally recognized academic review service?
