Tennessee's football team is about on the same plateau of national prominence as Cal recently, and Bruce Pearl has just started to bring the hoops program out of mediocrity.

if the directors cup doesn't matter how does UCLA have the best athletics in the country exactly? thier football team stinks. Their basketball team has won one national championship in the last 40 years. The sucky sports are their ONLY claim to fame these days.
