Assuredly, I did not. I meant top 5 in the country, a place we definitely have the potential to get to. In 2004 we were #7 going into the USC game when they were #1 and we were on the 11 with three downs to punch in a score and win the game (and our receiver dropped a sure touchdown in that sequence). We would have definitely been in the top 5 after that victory. We ended the season higher than the Vols in the polls so I don't know what you're squawking about. I predict the Vols don't even finish top TEN in the nation this year.

What is it with you Cal fans and this mid game reporting you do? You started every game tied and that's an impressive stat, but nobody really cares about specifices until the clock reads 0:00. That's when you assess results. If you actually talked about outplaying someone, rather than me knowing that they played down to your level, I could understand. Oh by the way, final poll rankings and a dollar will get you a really bad cup of coffee. That squad of yours hasn't beaten a good football team in years and is unlikely to do so anytime soon.
