Nobody is saying TX is not a huge market. Why do you think the sec is doing this? You texans are funny. Somehow everything else has to come back to being about Texas. You even stated that people around here didn't care about the redskins. This isn't the Dakotas. It's one of the largest, wealthiest states in the US. Landing Texas and VA markets would be huge for the sec. It doesn't have to be Texas vs the world.

Don't speak on "our" behalf there, bucko. I and many vol fans, regardless of our feelings on expansion, have a good deal of respect for A&M(especially in recent years). It has a lot of academic and athletic tradition and they find themselves a better team than us right now. If that last bit applies to any team, they can hang with the SEC.

I love A&M, but I'm a Tennessee fan first. I fully endorse this move and look forward to competing alongside the Aggies for the SEC in the future. It'll be nice to have another team to root for against Bama!

They bring more to the TV market than they bring on the field. They're the ones that will benefit the most in my mind. They'll be able too go toe to toe with Texas in recruiting and land a few more of those guys than they used too. The SEC benefitting as far as recruiting the state of Texas. Really don't buy that argument. They can go in their and recruit well now, the SEC sells itself.

Texas A & M belongs in the SEC just as much as Kansas or Iowa, i.e., not at all.

Like Coach Dooley said...."It's not about the money, it's about the amount of money."

Nothing for the fans of the SEC.

Duly noted...and I agree 100%...I would have preferred to stay in a Big 12 conference that included Nebraska and Colorado.

But like uninvited company, now we're here! Hope you're as happy as I am (someday). But if not, that's OK too...just don't key my car. :eek:lol:

I don't wish any ill or bad luck on any aTm fans, I just don't like the school, that awful, annoying whiny noise while waving hankies supporters at games make, and the hokey militarism.

I also like women as cheerleaders.

I do hope it works out for you as Aggie fans, and I hope it works out for us as Vols' fans.

I've never keyed a car...or even a lawnmower. :eek:k:

I'm for TAMU joining sec and frankly I don't know which team in the nation makes a better fit, the only other options are in states where we already have a presence or VT, though who knows if they even want to join.

big sherm sure did **** this season up for us. 2 winnable games and he manages to go in to pussy mode playcalling. He needs to **** of Aggieland. ive never liked the dude. i wanted him gone last year. i want him gone even more this year. i want Kirby Smart as our head coach, even though that wont happen.
