How are they taking the sec title meltdown? Are they happy with how they manned up? Are they upset because they outhit, outplayed, and outcoached bama and still lost? What's up in puppy world?

Who cares...They are just as irrelevant as always....Always choking away the big games....Richt might be worse than Fulmer in that aspect.

It was a gut wrenching loss. I can't even make fun of them after that.

Richt known for nit making it over the hump. That continues.

Overblown I think. He's won it twice and been in the SECCG about 5 times. He has a knack for running up against future national champs.

I would have rather seen the pups win than Bama.. That would be a tough loss to take if i were a Georgia fan..

Right....he's a terrible coach for going 11-2 in the SEC..... I would cut off my left one for Mark Richt right now.

There is one point to be made, Richt and the Dogs still don't have a BCS title, with all that talent, he cannot get over. BTW I would not say the Dogs outplayed Bama. Bama rushed for 300 plus yards and went up and down the field on them, they blocked a FG and got a INT in the end zone, because McCarens is way overrated and if he played on our beloved vols everybody would see how good he was with no defense on his team and running backs that are something other than 5 star players.

That said I would take Richt, but you got to say for whatever reason, he just cannot get one (BCS title)

Would rather have a chance to be in the big on vs not even having a chance to beat Vandy. Just sayin.

In case you haven't noticed, UGA fans still have had much more to brag about for the last 10 years. At least they have been in big games.

It'll be a laugh riot during the bowl season too.

A bunch of sec teams potentially losing bowls while Tennessee basks in the glow of a win over Kentucky.

Well, the left nut is clearly the inferior of the duo, so you must not want Richt at all...

My fiancé is an alumnus. I agree with GA, gut wrenching loss for the woofs. Maybe it's because it was Alabama on the other side of that ball, but nobody wants to see a team lose like that. At least I don't.

I was very impressed with both teams. They are in a class by themselves. We became a worse team as the season progressed and they both got better. I miss seeing the Vols play at that level.

Richt is 3W-15L against ranked opponents (at end of season) since 2008, and only 1W-10L in the past two seasons. Let's not wish for that.

To answer the OP question though, so far all the fan base that I know and are reading have been proud of the performance, not going off the deep end, and just disappointed that Richt didn't allow Murray to spike the ball at the end.

Are you agreeing or disagreeing with me, I said I would take Richt, but he just cannot get his team over. Yeah I was sick cause I hate Bama, but the consolation is at least we can tell UGA fans we have a BCS title and that don't.

Richt should come to TN and win won, that would be the ultimate right there.

Why are we as vol fans making fun of anyone? Really Kentucky is the only school we having bragging rights over

I see it differently. Bammer is so far ahead of everyone else as far as SEC and Nat'l champs no one will ever catch them. If jawja won this game and won a NC they would have significantly caught up with us in historical relevence. I think that would have been their 12th SEC title and second NC.

I know it is pathetic to have to look at it this way but I am always thinking how an opponents win/loss affects Tennessee either directly or indirectly. Tennessee is the only team I care about, all others can go to h3ll.

First of all, "pup"? What are you, 4?

Second, they played a good game against probably the NC in the SECCG, something we can only dream of at this point. UGA is something we are not....relevant.

And they didn't choke. Alabama was just a hair better. Hard to say you outhit and outplay someone that puts up 350 yds rushing against you.

I believe UGA has lost their chance to win it all. The East is getting better and now their schedule in the West will get considerably harder.
