i know this is random but IMO, johnathan gray is one of the best backs coming out of high school that i have seen in awhile. i watched him on tv the other night and was very impressed. that dude is the perfect definition of a beast. he looked like he was playing against a cutter team.

Yes, you are on to us. I am actually the AD at Texas and I can confirm that if we lose this game, We are prepared to offer Nick Saban a $72 million 6-year starting asap. And Nick has already accepted that offer.

Busted! You guys are on top of things. Please don't tell anyone

Yeah, but after awhile, people on chat boards start complaining about losing...one thing leads to another...and BOOM
Saban's statue has wheels on it. He can just hook it up to the trailer hitch on his SW Cruiser and pull it on over here to Austin

I doubt it. Six straight SEC NC's speaks for itself. While the Big 12 dont even have 12 teams.

lets face it, saban has never stayed in one place for very long. the national championship run the SEC is on...he's won 2 of them and les miles won another with sabans roster. he could win another this year. and he still has solid recruiting ties in texas AND louisiana. and look at all the talent there. add in the fact that texas can pony up some cheese...i can see this happening.

too bad its a baseless rumor!

Saban to Texas...just had it confirmed thru Mal Moore's postman's sister-in-laws third cousin. Done deal.

Saban got a little military in him. You just stay in place for 4-5 years mas and then it is time to move along before you wear out your welcome.

Saban didn't really want the Bama job in the first place, or at least put up a good bluff. If I recall they upped the pay until he couldn't say no. So yes, I think he absolutely would leave for more cash.

If Bama matches and he wants to stay, this is just going to up the coaching salaries and dig Saban at his current position.

You guys laugh like the Art Briles to Texas thing is laughable. However, here's what you may not understand... Art Briles is a legend in the state of Texas, when Mack brown steps down (after next season not this one) it will be to replace Deloss Dodd as AD who will be forced out next season because he refuses to play A&M now and the alumni are furious w him over this! When that happens Art Briles returns to his Alma Mater and has the run of the land in the state of Texas.

Jackson, whats funny is that my buddy who is a Texas grad who does sports radio came up with the math on why Texas could get Saban and now I think its funny as people treating it as a 0 percent chance of happening or its just a wild rumor that someone is trying to start lol. I could see it just because Saban never stays at the same place. However Jackson, I'm gonna go ahead and nominate myself as the person to say I called this move. LOL
