They once said on the radio that Martians had invaded the world. People back then believed that fairy tale as well. One is born every minute as PT Barnum once noted.

In the middle of the Hawaii bowl, ESPN rumored that Penn State is interested in Chris Peterson. Looks the like the Wilcox to (insert Boise here) group is about to start there mess lol

We are in fine shape, with or without saban

Not trying to raise a ruckus, BUT lets say Saban leaves Bama. In your mind, who do you think Bama would go after and why?

The safe bet is just give it to Smart, but he keeps turning down jobs, which I think is to avoid a Muschamp situation: Proven Coordinator, but tons of work to do to be a HC. Also, I don't think Smart is prepared to take over a top 5 program as his first gig.

And if mack brown leaves Texas, the Wilcox to Texas choir will start up. As soon as Saban takes the job, the Wilcox to bama choir will replace it

With bama's recent success, and with all the bandwagon people from TN throwing money at them.... I think Bama could and would match texas's offer.

Any AD with half a brain is going to be interested in him. Think history is going to repeat itself, though.

Clearly you've never been to Alabama. They take their football every bit as seriously as Texans.

 A state with 2 NC in a roll and playing for a 3rd. I think you comment is pretty much right on target. As far as matching a Texas offer, don't think that would be a problem at UA. I know since ut is sitting at home while the rest of the sec teams are preparing for bowl games gives the fans nothing else to talk about.

Bama has a student enrollment of 29,000 and an endowment of $632 million. Texas Austin campus has an enrollment of 51,000 and an endowment of $7.2 billion. If it's only about money, the Horns will have thier way.

Anybody else find it kind of odd that Kirby interviewed for the Sou Miss job and then immediately withdrew his name from any consideration. Not saying it means anything but I found it kind of weird.

I was talking about Bama but i think they are in that category too.

But yes, I have been to Bama a few times for trips and such. So many football jokes about uk..

I like how everyone's coaching rumors have people who believe "pay nick Saban lots of money" to be such an easy, feasible coaching hire option
