I:
1. Quoted your post
2. Used your exact wording
3. Put said wording in quotes in case you were really that stupid.
You missed all three.
And speaking of repositioning, you've responded to that fact by talking about my football career, my video game habits, Central Michigan, my incredible Google skills (since it apparently takes a beautiful mind to remember that Jones was hired in the same offseason as Dooley), my sexual preferences, and my apparent love for all things Louisville.
What's next? You can pull out more random topics if you want, but now that you've figured out how to use the Internet, I'd suggest looking up Louisville's 2009 season so you can finally answer my question.
Difference is pal, I don't sit around and proofread, google search, etc so I can gain e-cred points. I go off of memory, and yes between having several drinks in my lifetime, shots to the head, and the fact I'm more concerned about remembering things that actually matter, like my career, a couple of things get lost in the shuffle.
Unlike you who randomly shout out records, other teams not even being discussed,
and other nonsensical topics
Funny you refer to me as stupid and I could probably work circles around you in real life and if this was a verbal exchange I'd have you probably trying to fight me before you realized that wouldn't work for you either.
The point I'm making, which apparently would take sanddune approximately 6 more months to understand, is that while Jones appears to be a very good recruiter, there's absolutely no evidence that he can bring a team up from the bottom, make a BCS bowl, or beat an actual good team. Strong has done all three of those things, and there are plenty of coaches around the nation who have as well. I hope Jones is an excellent coach, but pretending like he's the third-best coach in the nation until proven otherwise is ridiculous.

Because on VN, it's naturally bashing to suggest he's not the best coach this side of Nick Saban.
No, you said there's absolutely no evidence he can bring a team up from the bottom, beat a good team or make a BCS bowl. I think winning 65% your games and winning a share of or your conference championship outright 4 out of 6 years is evidence that goes a long way toward suggesting he can do all of the above. Certainly not saying he's Saban, but a 6 year sample of winning teams, which includes multiple 10 win seasons playing against similar competition, is certainly "evidence" for me.
Saban surely "wasn't Saban" before he came to the SEC.
He also won the Mac championship game 2 out of 3 years. They play a game for their title also. Butch is just as accomplished as his peers when they came to the SEC. In fact, he won a conference title as HC. Did Richt, Saban, Miles, Stoops, Franklin, or Muschamp win a championship before they went to the SEC?
Saban, Meyer, Petersen, Patterson, Miles, Strong, Tuberville, Swinney, Briles, Gundy, Brown, Holgorsen, Ferentz, Hoke, Pelini, Fitzgerald, O'Brien, Kelly, Shaw, Kiffin, Whittingham, Leach, Malzahnn, Muschamp, Richt, Freeze, Sumlin, Spurrier, Franklin...
I think that's it.
Oh, wait. Beamer.

Lol half of those "Conference titles" are shared, at least one is shared with 4 teams.
And he went 4-8 his first year as a coach...at Cinci
Butch is better then Kiffin or Dooley, but I don't expect him to win a SEC championship while he is here...he will get us to 8-9 wins a year though.
