Were you asleep last January? Because they put a non-conference champ UGA in over multiple conference champs. And said non-conference champ went on to win it all. So no, they don't prioritize conference champs over everything else.

I said with the same record. Every other conference champ had 2 losses.

If TCU's resumê wasn't good enough to be in front of 1 loss Bama last week, there is no reason it would be good enough to leap Tennessee based off the CFP Chairman's exact words.

Once again, Boo said they are looking at the best teams regardless of their conference.

Sure as soon as you tell me what 2 loss team made the playoffs. We have all seen a SEC school make the playoffs without even going to the SECCG, & we have seen an SEC school lose the SECCG and still make the playoffs. We ain't never seen a 2 loss SEC or any other 2 loss team make the playoffs. This clearly shows that the committee puts more stock into your full body of work rather than someone who just got hot late in the season. By the time the SECCG comes up, we'll already be in the top 4, assuming we handle or business. I don't see LSU jumping us or knocking us out the picture because they won the SEC. We beat the same team they beat to get there and we beat them on their field by 26.

Very possibly could be Georgia, Ohio state, TCU, and Oregon. (Oregon although not a better resume but they respect power 5 champs.)

Oregon will not beat Utah just like USC did not beat Utah. Utah actually plays defense. Oregon is smoke and mirrors in a conference with absolutely no defense except Utah. Oregon vs Ga 2 final score would be Ga 49 - Oregon 3 same as the first time . Besides they’ll lose to Washington this week.
