Butch Davis will just change them back in '07.(OrangeSquare @ Jun 30 said:Fulmer.
I'm pretty sure that they are going to do it.
I talked to him back during spring practice, when the decision to move AWAY from the black socks was made, and told him how much a large number of Vol fans that I knew, wanted the stripes back. He said he likes them, and they are looking into it. I've now heard more recently that they are much closer to doing it.

I'll go where I want, when I want. I've broken no board rules here. The response was on topic. If the coach is changing uniforms for a reason as mindless as superstition, it deserves ridicule. The topic was changes in the uniform. I commented on the obvious silliness related to changing the color of the uniform socks. If you don't like my post, I'm very happy with its content.(OrangeSquare @ Jun 30 said:It's this type of B.S. that makes almost everyone that posts here, HATE you. This is a thread about UNIFORMS. Not Fulmer. Take your B.S. and your bad attitude to another thread.
I REALLY wish that Mods were able to police behavior like this.
Wearing all Orange became too commonplace. We were wearing it for every big home game for a while under Majors. Sneak it in every few years, then it has some novelty and gives the crowd a bit of a lift. We should go back to the orange pants on the road.(OrangeSquare @ Jun 30 said:It's JUST a comment. Fulmer doesn't ACTUALLY believe that socks had anything to do with luck. He also never believed that "magic dust" would fix anything. It's called Sarcasam, and since you put it in almost every one of your posts, I would think you would understand it. Course, it doesn't fit your agenda to allow Fulmer to use it.
Anyway, BACK ON TOPIC......
I'm not a big fan of the Orange on Orange look. I don't like the memories of the last few times we have worn them, although the long term memories are better than those few times. I don't think Phil will go back to Orange on Orange while he is here, although he likes to allow players to vote on certain uniform policies, since they have to wear them, so it's possible, although not really on the radar for this season.
I understand the puns sometimes and sometimes they are funny, just not all the time. It's called overkill. Hat is just being Hat.He'll get under your skin if you let him.I'm sure I've probably ticked him off a few times, vice versa, but I don't get mad about it.I say say it to a person's face if you really want to prove your manhood not behind a computer screen.I would like to be at the VolNation meeting in Knoxville though when all hell breaks loose. :biggrin2:(OrangeSquare @ Jun 30 said:It's this type of B.S. that makes almost everyone that posts here, HATE you.
