'24 AR RB Braylen Russell (Arkansas commit)

LMAO at you guys, talk about taking something and running with it... Just meant that at his current size, he could easily put on another 10lbs and in a couple of years, be trucking everyone who gets in his way, handing out stingers... the kid is already big and a grown arse man. This place can be too much. But I bet if he were to commit here, then yes, definitely the Derek Henry reference would be valid...

The next scheduled announcement comes later tonight when Braylen Russell comes off the board. Arkansas has made a big run for him since he wrapped up his official visits in June. Tennessee has been in constant contact with him even after he received a crystal ball to Arkansas this week that was quickly removed.
The family has spoken with Jerry Mack and Heupel the last couple of days. Russell has wanted to keep things quiet so him asking for the crystal ball to be taken down is not surprising and very likely telling in our estimation.

Thanks for the takes. Probably just wishful thinking trying to read more into it.

Onto the next prospect. Thankfully there is depth in the running back room and Lewis looks like a solid prospect.

Break it down for us, if you care to.

Rahiem was the real deal, and he's going to be hard to replace.

Agreed. But if Sanders leaves early Russell will still have AJ Green (current backup), 4* Rashod Dubinion (71 carries as a freshman last year), Dominique Johnson (2021's leading rusher - ACL injury last year), and the freshman I mentioned, Isaiah Augustave, ahead of him. Unless one of those transfers which is always possible.

Also have another back in Russell's class committed in Jadan Baugh. Under Pittman Arkansas has ran the ball a ton (we'll see if the change at OC makes a difference) though so there might still be carries to go around for everyone.
