We all try to grow from our mistakes so I hope they at least got that benefit. I regret many things from that 4-5 year period of my life.

I would say a) that you don't necessarily go into every kid knowing how it'll play out b) kids can be torn on do I prioritize x or y. It's also hard for people from the outside in to know how much of the coaches time is actually being prioritized on who.

Re 2) All of these are calculated considerations based on player's ability, position of need, area they're from etc - one of the many reasons the Spyre guys always rank highly is because of they're thinking through a bunch of them imo

You had me until this. I’ve been to Fayetteville a few times and love it. Reminds me of Asheville, NC. I understand if you want to trash Tuscaloosa or somewhere like that, but I don’t get the Fayetteville hate.

Ive actually read a former Presidents recounting, in great detail of Fayetteville. It sounds like a nice place.

Tuscaloosa is actually a nice town, real talk. Ive only driven through Fayetteville.

Glad you stan for Michigan Kinesiology, too. Not very "tricky" but It puts this remark in context. It's not wholly uninteresting that that is the way Fayetteville wants to see itself.

Yeah NWA might as well be a different state than the rest of Arkansas. But pretty much every SEC state has its horrible parts and decent parts. Remember Vitello being interviewed shortly after getting the UT job and comparing Fayetteville and Knoxville favorably to each other.
