I haven't, but have seen some temperature updates . It is pretty though, I wanna spend a few days there.Have you been out here during a winter? They’re not as bad as you’d think. It’s a dry climate so it doesn’t feel as cold as the temperature suggests. I’m a southeastern woman born and raised my whole life and I’m fine lol.
It’s so vast out here. When you’re driving or up on the mountain just looking out, it’s very prehistoric looking. We’ve been to 5 or 6 different cities and numerous towns so far. We saw a wild bighorn sheep out here a couple months ago. Still haven’t made it to Jackson or Yellowstone, but it’s on the list.I haven't, but have seen some temperature updates . We just drove through going, and coming from Idaho. We did stay the night in Rock Springs (i think it was) on the way home. I wanted to drive through Colorado during daylight, so we stated there. I'd love to explore it. You visit those places, take pics and share them! It’s so vast out here. When you’re driving or up on the mountain just looking out, it’s very prehistoric looking. Maybe I’ll make a thread in the pubWe just drove through going, and coming from Idaho. We did stay the night in Rock Springs (i think it was) on the way home. Tennessee head coach?Lafayette, IN. Pronounced LAH-fay-yet up here.
I wear my Vol stuff 2x per week usually, especially on the weekends.
As you can imagine, Purdue fans abound up here. We live 8 miles from Purdue. They all want their FB coach fired, and haven't been relevant since Former Tennessee Head Coach Jeff Brohm left town for his alma mater.
Basketball season is upon us though. That's where all their energy goes.
Sucks I can't really brag about either major sport to them, because they'll just say "scoreboard", and they'll be right...
WEST BY GOD VIRGINIA , everyone here likes or loves the vols. Rocky Top is a favorite. CFB believe it or not is just as big here as most sec schools, likely due to not much going on, so they like us for our passion. When we played wvu they liked us even more despite the score, just a culture fit. Like how TN fans are generally cool with. When I chatgpt the question "if vol fans had to have a second favorite team who would it be" the result is WVUSo I’m from Lubbock, TX and have to deal with all the red raider fans here in town. I was just wondering if any of y’all besides SEC towns have to deal with being a die hard fan but feeling like all these people love to see us lose. I was at the bar watching our game and I will just have to watch the meaningful ones at home from now on. I watch these crappy raiders play every week and you thought we were delusional. They just don’t understand what it means to us or at least me. I don’t say anything when the sanders sons are scoring all over y’all. They told me that they were a louder stadium than us. Lemme know if y’all have to kinda deal with this in your city
When I was in Nelson county near cville people liked the vols and thought I was exotic for it lolLived in Ft. Myers, FL for quite a while- lot of UF fans, especially in the Urban days.
Now in Charlottesville, VA- actually quite a few Tennessee fans around here, lots of Power T's on cars, license plates, etc. UVA doesn't care about football so no comments from them. Do get some comments from the VT fans though.
Live where NC,Georgia and Tennessee meet. Georgia fans are very numerous here I'm closer to Athens than Knoxville I thinkI lived there for 3 years. Surprisingly, the Auburn fans were worse than Alabama fans when I mentioned I was a Vol. Alabama fans called us "their respected rival". They hated Fulmer though. I was there when Alabama just started to get good: 2006-2009. In fact, Auburn had all the hype when I first arrived (2006).
