Are gays getting more rights than the rest of us?

Trouble with that "agreement" is that the Bible comments on science (and accurately) whereas the science you commonly refer to tends to try and contradict the Bible.

And there can not be any accurate way of determining the actual cause of all divorces. "Irreconcilable Differences" could encompass a myriad of things, including adultery.

No, science tries to figure out - through trial and error and experimental method - just how exactly the world works so as to better understand it and perhaps use that knowledge to humanity's advantage in the future

it has no goals of disproving the Bible and never has; the only people who've made those claims have tended to be upset people who felt "God unconditionally controls everything in the universe" and felt threatened by the way science was starting to explain the way the world worked.....in the same way that the church ruled galileo a heretic and banned him to his house because his ideas and observations that the Earth might not be the center of the universe ran counter to how the church believed God had created the universe, and that both bothered and scared everyone

I agree with this post.

The statement you were referring to (quoting) of mine was not intended to include all of science in general. That statement was primarily directed towards the individual I was quoting in my post who tends to deflect any type of argument to his views and beliefs on evolution when he can.

Better start protesting that constitutional right to buy that 40 before the big game on Sundays. You need that equal opportunity each and every day to make that purchase. Not to mention those states banning alcohol sales on election day. I need equal opportunity to buy a vote for a six pack.

Nobody said alchohol sales had anything to do with equal opportunity. Most laws that prohibit sales on Sunday particularly in the bible belt states are supposedly based on morals & religion. Kinda like blue laws that use to prohibit stores from opening before 1pm on Sundays. If u can't go to church u cant shop either.

A lot of these laws are being done away with. There are still some states/cities with the no alcohol on Sunday but those are also going away. I figure if you want to go too church on Sunday and not drink, that's your right; however, if yo want to stay home and drink that's also your right.
