Where was it said that is was based on this?
Selection for becoming a Nascar driver would never come down to this either.
As posted earlier in this thread by volinbham...We Need The Definition Of Athlete, We Need The Definition Of Athlete
athlete
Pronunciation: 'ath-"lEt, ÷'a-th&-"lEt
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin athleta, from Greek athlEtEs, from athlein to contend for a prize, from athlon prize, contest
: a person who is trained or skilled in exercises, sports, or games requiring physical strength, agility, or stamina
Changing your thought on a subject multiple times over the course of 24 hours is pitiful. At least pick a side and stick to it instead of floating around or arguing just for the sake of arguing with different thoughts depending on the day.
your original quote that I was responding to makes it sound like space aboard a shuttle mission comes down to an athletic event. astronauts are competing against each other, but their final selection for a mission isn't based on how "athletic" they are.
Sorry I brought which you voted into this. allvol123. Maybe I should just wait until tomorrow to discuss this further as the possibility of you changing your mind again still exists?
But, please, do go ahead and make more smartelic comments.
