Are we going to give Cuonzo

How can anyone seriously believe that we are going to fire another coach within the next few years with the amount of money that we are paying out to former coaches already. The financial situation for the AD is widely known. Martin will be here next year simply because it doesn't make good financial sense to fire him.

his 3rd year like we did Dooley?
Yes and he must have a losing season or we'll give him a fourth. We'll go 16 and 15 this season and everyone will be saying what a great job he did with all the injuries. Next season we'll probably cut those losses to 8 and get a 10 seed in the NCAA and everyone will say how the program is progressing. Then Stokes and Maymon will be gone and he'll probably have his first losing season at Tennessee but we'll give him his fifth year anyway. Another losing season Cuonzo is fired and we hire Derek Horn former South Carolina coach for 3 million a year and a ten year contract.:)

It takes very little knowledge and insight to know that Dooley was a shyte hire when Ham-Bone hired his wretched arsss.

First guy I ever seen get over 2 million a year with a losing record at Louisiana Tech. The Guy we should fire is Cheeks who helped do that wretched search and grab a man with a 13 and 17 record. To add insult to injury we will be paying him for several more years.

Those were guys willing to take the job? If so then, no Martin wasn't our best choice. However, I don't see many names on that list that were jumping up and down begging for the job...who was?

I believe that any of the guys on my list would have strongly considered the UT job if the money was right. Since when does someone have to be "jumping up and down begging for a coaching job to get hired". And for that matter I did not hear anyone saying that Zo was "begging" for the UT job. Ham-Bone used a half-arsed search firm to conduct the search. I doubt anyone of those guys except Rick Byrd was even given the slightest bit of consideration by UT and its search firm. And Byrd was rumored to really want the job!

So out of everyone on that list byrd was the only one rumored to be interested...maybe we disagree, but I'd go Martin>Byrd.
