I'd like to see UT steal him. I really like the shorter backs that run with power and speed.

Surely you don't literally believe that Auburn will be the worst team in the SEC when Gus leaves. Their recruiting is no joke and though Gus is talented, nothing precludes them from getting another good OC. Heck fire man, they BEAT US!! Vandy, Ky, Miss State better than Auburn? Think again.

- Bryce has that hip injury
- Oku has not proven he can run between the tackles in the SEC

To be fair, Oku really hasn't had much of a chance. All he's got has been some mop up duty. Granted, i know he's not a Hardesty or Brown, just not that type of back.

I want to see Oku get more carries with meaningful snaps.

That's my point. There's a reason he hasn't gotten more carries. It's not for sure that he can do that yet. I think he will be able to, but you always need depth in case he can't...

look at the haul of 5* backs pulled in 3 straight recruiting classes. Stud backs aren't afraid of competition. they want to prove their the best.

I think CLK would like to get BB and Oku more carries, but frankly he's got a TB in Hardesty that is making a case to go on the first day in the NFL draft.

To some degree, you want to give a guy like Hardesty plenty enough carries to get a good draft grade (for his sake and for the impact it will have in recruiting), not to mention that he's just the best guy we have right now.

Ok, a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then, but I think a poll of SEC fans would show that they would rather have their team play KY than Auburn. Auburn's recruiting is also pretty fierce right now while Kentucky is... well, you know.

You give Hardesty the most carries simply because he's the best back on the roster, not to boost his draft stock.

If Lattimore commits to Aub, then that helps us a ton. I personally think Lattimore is going to SC, but we need him to go to UA. If Lattimore goes to AU, then we are in the drivers seat for Dyer.

Just got this from a friend in my e-mail...

TOS hinting Dyer and Mosley to committ to UT on Friday...SIAP They seeem to think we are getting some big news on Friday. Don' get me wrong, I think Hubbs and the crew are much more credible and often don't pay attention to TOS but I just thought I would share anyway. TFWIW.


Basically there was a post from a guy who lives in Little Rock who said he's been hearing rumblings about these guys both committing to UT and asked the MODS what they've heard. Their only reponse was: "think it's going to be an exciting day for UT on Friday". The OP went on to say that the two are purposely keeping things very quiet until Friday. Again, TFWIW. I'm more of a believe it when I see it guy.
