i.e mendenhall, charles, ECU guy, Mcfadden, Stewart, Hart all push him back, if more declare he could slip slide all the way to fourth

Is Felix Jones leaving? I've heard he's projected as a first round pick.

I don't think Arian should/will go that high, but I wish him all of the luck. It seems like a big gamble for him to make the jump right now, because there's a big chance he could flop to the 6th or 7th round

If he stays... who's gonna best him in 09?

Dont forget about Kevin Smith.. did he declare yet?

He was saying Mendenhall would push Foster down to the 3rd or 4th rd, not Mendenhall.

:hi:.... posted it as I was writing.

At this point, do you risk another season and possibly get hurt, or do you stick around and hope to improve your draft position?

I say Arian could probably flip a coin and probaly make the right decision either way.

Ray Rice from Rutgers would be another guy I'd take over Foster in a heartbeat, if he turns pro.

I'd say stay... it's worth the risk if you dont know with certainty if you're going on the first day or not. He stays.... who's going to be better next year? His stock is going way up with another year like he had in '07. It's not the same decision DMac has... he's high first rounder anyway you look at it. There's a big difference in 1st round $$$ and 2-3 round $$$

Rice is good but no way in any galaxy would he do what he does in the Big LEast in the SEC.... no way.

He won't be a first rounder next year, either.

Heck ... if he can go that high, I'd say 'adios' if I were him. Personally, I don't see him going that high -- but I don't own any NFL teams, either.

To me, it seems like the running back position has taken a hit in value among the pro ranks over the last few years. More teams are using two and three backs to get the job done. You almost have to be an Adrian Peterson or a LaDanian Tomlinson type talent to get drafted in the higher rounds. Lots of NFL teams are picking guys in the lower rounds and they're doing a capable job.

It's all based on team needs anyway. Nothing is certain. Who will be better next year than Foster or Smith?

If nothing else... you must concede that this year's class will be hands down tougher than next year's class.

Wasn't Meachem projected to go no lower than 20th or something last year? Yeah he drafted in the first round, but sometimes you fall farther than what you're projected at.

Foster will never start in the NFL........he's way to slow and fumbles to much.....he'd be a fool to leave..... he'd prolly stay if Troop was still here.
