I am 34 years old and I would smoke him , he gets out ran by every lineman on the field, not to mention the fumbling. I think he hurts us worse by coming back than by leaving

Rob Smith left because the OL coach was fired after his Jr year, if I remember correctly, so any draft projection may have been inconsequential. Maybe someone else can help me out with the coaches name?

Players generally get faster when they have experts teaching them, not slower. And there's NO WAY a high level athlete would get .42 seconds slower in the 40 from ages 18-21.

In a year of ups and downs Foster has been our horse. If the kid goes he goes. At TN there has always been someone step up. We will be O.K. He might not look it but he is fast enough.

no way he's not the slowest back in the SEC, I never said he sucked , I just think we can do better. However we will never know if we can do better if he stays because our coach will continue to isolate him from the other backs

I never knew the reason but that sounds like a very stupid one. Not saying it isn't true, just stupid. And even if that is the reason, the draft projection isn't incosquential. At least in terms of what I was aksing about. I wanted to know if he was projected at all since he went undrafted.

Just to confirm, the stated reason above is in fact why Smith left. He loved Jimmy Ray.

1) Why are you quoting yourself?
2) I love how hard Hardesty runs in the 7 or 8 games a year that he's been healthy. He hasn't done much to prove that he can take the pounding of more than 10 carries a game.
