That isn't the whole story. Ken Bennett, a Republican and a former Arizona Secretary of State, was serving as an unpaid liaison between the Arizona state legislature and the company performing the audit, Doug Logan's "Cyber Ninjas". Bennett has talked about serious issues he has with how "Cyber Ninjas", has conducted its work. He has specifically criticized the way volunteers entered in tally sheets from vote counts, something that was also flagged by observers sent by the current Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs. What is the point of having a liaison in communication with a congressional oversight body, if that person is not allowed to convey concerns over the work being done in real time? That's not transparency. This audit is a farce of a partisan political exercise. As far as Ken Bennet quitting, it had to do with him leaking information out. They have said from the start they did not want numbers leaked until the final report was complete.
