Arizona Election Audit

"Arizona is committing all the same sins that Trump’s supporters have been denouncing, using a brazenly partisan process run by apparently unqualified parties, with procedures kept secret and subject to change. Observers are being asked to sign nondisclosure agreements, reporters have been kicked out of the site, and the exercise is being largely funded by interested outside parties—even though the Arizona legislature recently passed a law that prevents local boards from accepting outside funding."

This confirms everything that I have been saying about this sham of an "audit" from the start. The mission of Republicans in the Arizona state legislature is not to reassure the American people that the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election was valid, nor is it meant to identify any legitimate problems within the democratic system of elections so that they can be corrected. Their mission is just the opposite... they want to confirm Donald Trump's allegations of fraud and further sew distrust and suspicion among voters in order to de-legitimize Joe Biden's victory, and to justify voter suppression laws that they will soon be passing. This "audit" will also be used as a fundraising tool among Republicans in Arizona. The purely partisan approach to this audit will not change the mind of even one voter. This is a farce.

I think, or at least I hope, that the majority of Americans realize this to be true. There is just a high concentration here on the board and I guess here geographically that think like Wayne thinks.

It won’t change the mind of one voter. It’s a farce. Then there is nothing to worry about. Let the crap show continue then.

What kind of logic is this? There is a lot wrong with the hyper-partisan political climate in this country right now. The Republican-controlled Arizona state legislature didn't create this hostile climate, but at the moment, they are contributing to it.

Which was the same number of electoral college votes (74) that Trump won by in 2016... a margin of victory which he repeatedly referred to as being a "landslide".
So what? Why are you so stuck on Trump? Everyone knows he exaggerates pretty much everything. It’s time to let him go BB. He’s gone.

So he was wrong all the way up until Biden won and now you agree with Trump?
LOL. I didn't say that he was either right or wrong. I'm saying that he is inconsistent. In 2016, Donald Trump called the electoral college vote count totals of 306-232 a "landslide". Now, those same totals are close enough election to justify lawsuits, multiple recounts, hand recounts and audits. That is not consistent.

Why do you care so much? When the ”audit” finds nothing you have a “see I told ya” in your pocket.

Oh. You we’re talking to trump. Got it. I didn’t see him on here.
I thought both elections could have gone either way with just a few votes. For what it’s worth

Cyber Ninjas was hired to announce that they found massive fraud, and then conclude that Donald Trump was the actual winner of Arizona... and that is exactly what they will do.

I doubt that. Most likely they’ll find some minor discrepancies and the Rs will bluster, fuss and use it to raise money. In the end nothing changes.

So I ask again, why do you GAF? The results of the election aren’t changing.
