Army Soldier refuses to salute flag

I think she has the right not to salute the flag, but only if she's a civilian

She swore an oath to defend this country. That flag flies proudly over this country and a lot of soldiers died defending that flag.

My dad served in Vietnam under that flag and I think its a damn disgrace for her to do that while acting in her position

She is a disgrace to the uniform and this nation

As a young enlisted airman did I try and aviod Retreat. Yes, But did I do a touchdown dance in celebration no.

Her NCO should PT her into the Dirt. Then make her a part of the flag duties for the rest of her career in the US Army. To teach her one hell of a valuable lesson that her Supervisors, BMT instuctor, and other enlisted types failed to teach her.

That stuff doesn't happen outside of basic training anymore. A lot of folks always tried to hit cover to avoid retreat but wasn't as dumb as this chic.

Sad. I hate the direction the world is headed. Too many people refuse to love self-sustaining lifestyles. Too many people have no idea what loyalty, respect and honor is. This is an example of that.

Take food stamps away and make these people grow gardens. Take the stupid Obama phones away, and make these people use payphones. Stop giving handouts, and show these people a way to survive.
