Who cares? He should have gone there to start with and they could have used his schollie for someone from SEC territory that would appreciate being a VFL.

Yes, probably so, but you can go really nuts, really fast, demanding that everything in this world be done fairly and aboveboard.

People can b**** and moan about the delay in allowing him to transfer to MSU (to repeat: Dooley did release him, but he originally blocked UM and MSU), but despite the initial negative publicity, it lasted long enough for some of the details to come out, making it a little less black and white.

In this days of instant journalism, it can take a lot of patience and time to get "the rest of the story."


edit to add: and best wishes to him in his football career, and best wishes to his father. Life's way too short to carry grudges about stuff like this. :hi:

Plus he would have known the feeling of beating a SEC team that actually matters.

Good for the Arnett family. "Played" or not, this was the right thing to do. I hope the best for him. Seems to have his prioroties in order............
