Im sure they tried to talk him out of it and make him more comfortable in staying. After he decided to leave they're no longer responsible for helping him grow up.

As to the tough call, I don't see it. Dooley got it right.

Is he in the same class as Rogers or Hunter? Not even close...decent future but we can and will recruit better at the position.

That was worked out weeks ago.

The only reason he wanted to leave is because he already worked a deal with msu. Actually his brother did it on his behalf.

And its why he made such a big deal about getting a full release.

Yep. And what he did will come back to bite him one day, especially if he makes the draft. His brother Ralph may love him but he'll also be his undoing if DeAnthony isn't real careful.

Don't mind this. But I can't help but wonder if maybe he thought to himself "Tennessee is pretty set at WR, will be hard to get my name out there when the Tennessee highlights are usually dominated by Hunter and Rogers"

Was kinda hoping he would go to Michigan...after the horrible offense last night, they could've used someone like Arnett.

Either way he didn't want to be here. Chances are slim we play against him...let him go back home. Hope his dad's health improves. I'll still be a fan of him.

smartest player on the team imo. made it out in time. Like in one of my favorite movies... Boiler Room.. remember at the end, the poor sap who invested his life savings into the bogus ipo... the main character wanted to right the situation at the very end and get his money back so he asked vin diesels character to sign off on the sale back of his stock and he did... well Arnett is the guy who got his money back just before the place went under... very fitting imo. Great movie by the way. Sorry to those I’ve spoiled it for.
