It'd be a lot easier to just disown your nephew!
Georgia getting postponed yesterday is big news for our series with them next week.
Next week is already a day sooner and this puts even more of a change for their one elite arm. My guess is they won't even pitch him against us until game 3 now and won't at all unless that game is to get them into Hoover
Wonder who we're gonna pitch game #1 against Georgia tomorrow night? Will it be Zach or Soto or Freeman for the 1st game? I'd say probably Zach because he's been our most consistent SP.
That #2 A&M vs #7 Ole Miss is a great matchup. Along with #1 UF vs #10 LSU matchup. I believe ESPNU & SEC Network is carrying all 3 of the games between UF-LSU. We're playing Saturday's game at noon on SEC Network.
If Ole Miss can take at least 2 of 3 vs Texas A&M that will help them tremendously when it comes to seeding for the NCAA tourney.
We are throwing Will Neely.
Neely is going to start? Well, that's a change for his role. He's been used pretty much exclusively out of the bullpen all season. How many games has he started? I wouldn't think over 2-3. I do remember him starting a couple of midweek non-conference games but that's about it.
Wait, I think he started one conference game too so I can't remember more than 3 starts for him. He has been pitching well though so nothing wrong with throwing him in there for another start. I'm still surprised we didn't go with Zach or Freeman to be honest though for game #1.
