Around the SEC

So has Georgia decided not to throw their ace this weekend?

I am assuming he isn't pitching until Tuesday

He is supposed to go tomorrow. Our best bet maybe a rain out and a DH Saturday forcing him to not throw.

45% chance of rain in Athens at first pitch...65% at 4 PM, and if it gets delayed, it only gets worse...

Big comeback win for us today. I gave up when we were down 4-0. I missed the comeback but so glad we were able to do it. Gives us a chance now.

TAMU and MSU take over the lead in conference play big games for them tomorrow...and we pretty much crushed Georgia's chance at an at large bid...they were a long shot anyway.

So, we(SEC) have 7 of the top 12 teams in the country. The final SEC standings are crazy. UF ended up being #4 in the SEC but was ranked #1 going into the weekend.

I think Miss. State will make a jump now possibly to that #1 overall ranking. UF I still don't see how they could fall any lower than #3 period. I say this all heading into the SEC tourney. It will all play out anyhow during the tourney to help determine NCAA seeding.

One team I think overranked is Ole Miss. There's no way they should be ranked that high. They will fall anyhow after this weekends series vs Texas A&M. No way this Ole Miss team deserved to be ranked #6.

The rest of the teams are ranked fine in my opinion even though you can swap those other top 6 SEC teams for various spots. I think the SEC has a chance at getting 4 teams in the top 8 national seeds.

Winning the series vs UofL has boosted Ole Miss. Plus they own OOC wins vs Coastal Carolina and Southern Miss who are both top 25 teams.

Kendall Rogers said he was told that is incorrect.

This is so funny. He says reports aren't true then tweets this

@KendallRogersD1: If the #Mizzou job came open, though, I’d look very hard at Tony Vitello (Arkansas) and Todd Whitting (Houston). Whitting worked for Mack.
