So, we(SEC) have 7 of the top 12 teams in the country. The final SEC standings are crazy. UF ended up being #4 in the SEC but was ranked #1 going into the weekend.
I think Miss. State will make a jump now possibly to that #1 overall ranking. UF I still don't see how they could fall any lower than #3 period. I say this all heading into the SEC tourney. It will all play out anyhow during the tourney to help determine NCAA seeding.
One team I think overranked is Ole Miss. There's no way they should be ranked that high. They will fall anyhow after this weekends series vs Texas A&M. No way this Ole Miss team deserved to be ranked #6.
The rest of the teams are ranked fine in my opinion even though you can swap those other top 6 SEC teams for various spots. I think the SEC has a chance at getting 4 teams in the top 8 national seeds.
