As a fan that attended, I will say this

OSU has a percentage of ass hat fans like every major university does (as does UT). In my experience the actual alumni tend to be a little more reasonable than the non-alumni fan (again the same with UT). I do think certain areas are more hospitable like Knoxville vs Columbus bc our city isn’t a **** hole of crime & General Southern hospitality.
Every fanbase has a percentage. They have a majority.

Trash talking after we just got humiliated in every phase of the game is a HORRIBLE look. They are no worse than our fanbase changing the name of the stadium on Apple Maps, or playing Rocky Top at waffle houses throughout the city, or copious amount of trash talk our fans did on social media leading up to the game. Everyone I encountered was extremely pleasant, and perhaps you just don't like the taste of crow.

Reality of the situation is OSU let their gameplay speak for itself. The game illustrates the huge talent gap, along with a gap in coaching ability between Tenn and any CFP contender. Worry not about a rematch as next yr we will be 8-4 and not in the playoff
Thanks for poking the bear vols fans!!!
Some days the the bear eats you, some days the bear takes a 50 cal round from a Barrett rifle.

Nah, they really are pieces of sh*t. I’ll stand by that. They weren’t short handed at the skill positions like we were.
Those guys don't play defense. They could have scored 60 if they wanted to. Our skill guys not playing had no bearing on us winning or losing. We got our asses kicked.

OSU has 2 national titles in the last 54 years. I've never understood their arrogance.
What about our fans arrogance? We haven't done $hit since '98, but the way our fans act and talk you'd think we have been relevant for 25+ years.

If they don’t play defense, then how did not having 3 of our best guys not hurt us? That makes no sense.

The Buckeye fanbase let Volnation treat The Horseshoe like Dudley Field. I’d rather be a part of a fanbase that’s loud and passionate before a game than one that says little, sells their playoff tickets for less than an average SEC game in Neyland, then barks like a dog behind glass when the game is over.

I hope we get a rematch next year in Neyland and we’re not short handed at the skill positions like we were last night. Losing Sampson, Thornton, Squirrel on the offense made a huge difference. I get that it’s next man up for us, but i think Ohio State surprised themselves with their performance. I won’t be watching the rest of the playoffs, but I hope Oregon beats the absolute sh*t out of OSU. Their fans are terrible and were terrible even before the “flag planting” thing was said. I will never congratulate that fanbase for anything, even the majority of their stadium workers were rude as hell.
What did you expect? We spent two weeks trash talking them, claiming superiority, and posting scenes from “the takeover” all over social media. We showed zero class, were obnoxious AF, and you’re mad because their fans and stadium workers weren’t nice to us? 🙄

In the past 20 years, they have 18 seasons with two or fewer regular season losses. We have 2.

They have played on the NC game twice in the past 10 years. We have played in it twice in 73 years, and our last NC was 26 years ago.

They have 7 Heisman winners. We have zero.

They just absolutely embarrassed us on the field.

They have more to be cocky about than we do.

The kid across the street from me growing up had some cousins from Ohio. They’d come down for a week every summer. They were some of the dumbest, most f’ed up people I’d seen up to that point in my life.

“We” didn’t do sh*t, so calm down with that. Read on down the line on the part where “they’ve always had bad fans and I know personally” part. Dont try to be a hero and swing in here like some sort of harda**.

One team was motivated.

One team looked like they didn’t want to be there.

You can decide which fits…
This game reminded me of the adage from Mike Tyson " Everyone's got a plan until they get smacked in the mouth" My only concern is that we didn't respond with a smack of our own. It's like it was over after the first series.

You really want to see some stuff, try Akron or Dayton on for size lol.

Those place make Cleveland look like a nature preserve.
The best part of Ohio is the "Thanks For Visiting" signs. It's basically Alabama without the Space Center

Might be a little closer score at Neyland, but they'd still slobber knock us.

I just don’t think they would with our full arsenal or at least it would’ve been closer. Missing Sampson, Thornton and Squirrel hurt us more than people realize. I realize it’s next man up, but it’s never good when one of those is also SEC POY.

Dont try to be a hero and swing in here like some to complain about the Committee or their fans is just silly. We weren’t one of the elite teams this year. We weren’t even a great team. We were a good team that needed a very specific path through the CFP, a lot of luck, and to play light outs. We didn’t get any of the three.
