Ugh. Well it seems that back in 2020, someone ("tipsters") gave Project Veritas a diary purportedly belonging to Ashley Biden (Joe's daughter). In it she describes "inappropriate showers" with ol Joe as well as indicating she was sexually molested while young. They checked it out but couldn't verify its authenticity at the time so they didn't publish it. Instead they turned it over to police. All fine and responsible journalism, right? Just some crazy right wing hit job on everyone's ol uncle Joe pa, right?

Well, seems yesterday, the FBI raided the homes of two PV reporters and the NYT confirms the DOJ is looking into the theft of Ashley Biden's diary, basically confirming that the diary was legit. Gosh this whole scenario seems so familiar, like I almost dont have to "Hunt" for it on my laptop Veritas is saying their tipster said it was found at a house she used to be at.

Now we know dems don't care about Hunter's issues of corruption but the some actual evidence (though not proof) that Sleepy Joe is actually Creepy Joe? will that be a bridge too far? I doubt it really. Most will simply explain it away. Some still believe Hunter's laptop was a Russian fake. I know political operatives love to smear opponents with the pedo tag because it works but this would seem to be a case where there sure is a lot of smoke. Joe's hair sniffing and odd habits with kids make this all too easy.

Beyond the implications of the diary, how is it that DOJ and FBI are running after a book with no monetary value, which has already been turned into them? Since when did they become the President's (any President's) private detective force to cover up your family issues? Does Federal law enforcement see itself as Joe's Praetorian Guard?

Maybe this is something the Dem party leaders use internally to get Joe to step aside for "health reasons" in 2024, though Kamala would be the world's largest gift to Republicans ever.

I'm skeptical about the allegations but what is the legal justification for raiding PV's employee's offices? Was the diary stolen by them? If sent to them how is it different than any other media org having purloined documents sent to them?

There is no legal justification. If left unchecked, the FBI will be to everyone what conspiracy theorists label them.

FBI confirmed that the diary was authentic. It was indeed Ashley’s.
FBI did not confirm the contents. Probably for good reason.

BB can’t call the entire diary a forgery. And he doesn’t. He admits it’s hers.

His theory is that the 2 goons found the diary in its authentic form. Veritas then forged the shower entries and inserted them into the authentic pages.

The FBI had the diary and authenticated it as Ashley’s.

But the FBI made no mention of the inconsistency in the pages, paper, ink, and handwriting that were present with the forged entries. Weird.

This isn't anything new. Ashley Biden confirmed a long time ago that the diary was hers. At issue, is whether or not the salacious passages in question were written by her, or were they forged by the couple who found the diary or by Project Veritas. This "new" information does not address that.

It is clear that from the moment the couple found the diary, they viewed it as an opportunity to make money. In order to sell the diary for the kind of money that they wanted to make, the diary couldn't just include passages concerning what Ashley Biden had for lunch and what she was currently streaming. I still contend that if the diary didn't contain juicy passages damaging to Joe Biden at the time the diary was found .... it damn sure would by the time the diary was sold.

This couple in question, and Project Veritas have zero integrity. The couple is in jail, and Project Veritas has been caught bribing witnesses to lie in the past. They both had powerful motives for forging those passages, and I believe that is what happened.
