Ashli Babbitt’s Killer is a blm Militant

It's his residence. It is as much our property as the Capitol.
No, once again you're wrong. The people's house is definitely not ours. You can be murdered for going there uninvited. The guy calling himself president even stated in his first address to Congress. We the people are the government, not the people.

Should have let a grand jury decide that.

I can agree with that, but I don't get to make the call on whether to move forward with that.
My opinion from what I've read and seen, is that if there were members of congress on the other side of that door and there were "mainly peaceful protesters staying behind the velvet ropes" at every exit to the room at the time. If that were a president (any president) stuck in a room with secret service instead of congressmen with Capitol police, I don't think this discussion would have gone where it has. If those were the facts presented to me as a juror, that's probably the way I would go.

I can respect that but her death should have gotten the same consideration as GFs and the DA or DOJ whoever had jurisdiction should have presented it to a GJ.

I agree. I also think prosecutors don't want to move on a case they think they can't win. I don't know if that even played into this, but it could be a factor.

The woman and the crowd posed no threat. The lies told of police killings that were quietly retracted later should've told you that. An unarmed woman was killed. Should she be charged with destruction of property or trespassing, sure. The idea that elected officials should have extraordinary liberal use of deadly force applied by federal law enforcement is bullsh!t. Equal application of our laws should be applied across the board.

Stand your ground baby.

Edit: sorry, I shouldn't have responded, but because I have... What are your thoughts on a duty to retreat?

It's either a public space or it isn't. If the Oval Office is not a public space, then what is the Speaker's Lobby when the door has been barricaded?

Sometimes that depends on your politics. I suggested the same comparison awhile back and was told it was hyperbolic.

Does invading public space warrant death? You guys are so easy. You guys need to come out and admit that you will always condemn this group because it was pro Trump. Then, I can at least respect your guys opinion. As far as your fake Christian respect for certain life, I'll never respect that.

I never said it warranted death.

I will grant you this: it's certainly easy to argue against a point that no one is making rather than addressing someone's actual position.

Then who is my representative to the rest of the world?

And the chain of command of each branch ends at the President.

You don’t have a “representative to the rest of the world”.

POTUS is CIC but not a member of the military. He’s not subject to UCMJ nor required to render honors.

Can he unilaterally order the withdrawal of all forces from Afghanistan? If so, then call him whatever you want, but he's in charge of the armed forces.

And I'm just going to disagree with your first argument. Part of my calculus in voting for President is how he's going to represent my interests abroad.

I feel that if I get to vote for the position, the position represents me... even if I didn't vote for him.

I agree with that and feel he same applies to you when there's a president you didn't vote for.

Of course. We as a country have allowed the executive branch to assume entirely too much power and authority. It shouldn’t matter who the President is.

I have a carry permit. If you walk toward me unarmed in a video and I put one in your chest, if you die, I'm going to jail for murder plain and simple.

What of I'm at the head of an angry mob, and I climb thru your window that others in the mob just smashed out?
