Ashli Babbitt’s Killer is a blm Militant

What of I'm at the head of an angry mob, and I climb thru your window that others in the mob just smashed out?
I've said it before, you should look into the laws. Private property gives you more freedom to use deadly force. To answer your question, I'll get charged and will beat the charge.

And what if the only reason to believe I'm unarmed is that we found out later I'm unarmed, and what if I'm not walking toward you in a random setting, but I'm climbing through a window where you're hiding from a mob? @tnmarktx

I've looked at the laws that give the police greater leeway in using lethal force than the average citizen. I've also read the laws that say "public property" does not mean guaranteed access whenever someone wishes to enter.

I'm not sure about DC or federal property, but I'm pretty sure most stand your ground laws don't make a distinction about your duty to retreat whether you are in public or private settimg. They are different from castle doctrine laws.

There aren't any federal or DC stand your ground laws. Not that it matters since we're talking about an LEO.

I'd still like for @tnmarktx to tell me if he's okay with the logic behind Stand Your Ground or Castle Doctrine.
Edit: im pretty sure if somebody rolls into my business, makes it to my office, partially kicks in the door, and starts to come in, @tnmarktx thinks i should get the chair if I defend myself.

I don't know the law in alabama. In Tennessee you are not allowed used deadly force to protect property period.

I wouldn't fire on you until I see a weapon. Once I saw a weapon, I'd dump the whole magazine into you. Anything other than that and you're likely charged and 50/50 convicted.

I don't know about AL, either. I live in TN and have for almost my entire life. And I agree about protecting property. But it's irrelevant to this case because the Capitol police are authorized to use deadly force to protect members of Congress.

Believe what you want, the worst she did was criminal trespassing. I'm not aware of that crime warranting deadly force. The statement about playing stupid games win stupid prizes does not give any law enforcement the right to use blanket deadly force.

This.

You and and I are different. If you come into my office under those circumstances, I'd probably unload, and I'd feel I was justified. That's not even assuming my job was to protect the people in the room.

There are rumors the individual that shot her was trigger happy with a political agenda. You don't know this when they purposely hide the shooter's identity.

He might have had a sinister motive. That doesn't necessarily eliminate justification. If he's got a bunch of social media posts talking about shooting Trump supporters, well then we may be on to something.

It was cold blooded murder. Far worse than Chavin kneeling on a thugs back.

Our nations “Capitol” was overtaken by a group with nothing but cell phones. Doesn’t that make you suspicious?

Good chance you'd go to jail. In Tennessee at least. It's a huge responsibility when you decide to carry a firearm.

There are rumors that Trump said American soldiers were "losers." That doesn't make it true that those troops were losers and it doesn't make it true that Trump said that.

Protect against what fake Christian? You are ignorant of the law in TN. Someone comes into your yard and stabs your dog. If you come out of your house and shoot them dead, you're going to jail for murder.

How was the officer to have known they were unarmed? It's not like they all waited patiently to pass thru the metal detectors.

That analogy is absurd. I mean, I don't like Congress either. But I certainly think they deserve more legal protections than a dog.
