Astro Dobbs

Dobbs is going to earn himself a small 7 figure pay day with a QB desperate team by seasons end.
This is what Jimmy Johnson's thoughts are:

"He’ll get him a big contract after the year,” FOX Sports analyst Jimmy Johnson said at halftime on Sunday. “It’s about being in the right place at the right time with the right coach and he’s got that in Minnesota.”

It's kinda funny and strange watching everyone react to Josh Dobbs like he came out of no where. We watched so many games where Josh Dobbs was this guy. So glad the Vikings are trusting him to be the guy.

All he needed was a chance. And Minnesota was the perfect spot. Kevin O'Connell looks like brilliant young coach.

Remember the old days of Francis Asbury Tarkenton? A scrambler as well. Dobbs is VFL who always represents my alma mater well!
Tarkington was being interviewed by someone and told how he got the starting job at UGA. UGA was trailing Texas in 1958 and Tarkington was watching helplessly from the bench. He decided that coach Wally Butts was going to redshirt him his Sophomore year, so, when he saw the starting QB sitting on the bench immediately after a punt, Tarkington put on his helmet and ran onto the field. The guys in the huddle said, "what are you doing here?". Tarkington replied, "I'm here to win this game!" Tarkington led them down the field for a TD, waived off the field goal kicker and threw for one of the first 2-pt conversions in CFB history (they initiated the 2-pt conversion just before the season started), and UGA took the lead. He was the UGA QB from then until he graduated.

I'm all for Josh finding the right fit and emerging as a starter in the NFL. My only concern is that we are likely to see a reemergence of the insufferable D4H. Go Josh.

KOC is a good coach, and he believes in Dobbs, which is huge. When he got that disastrous start last weekend, KOC was over there in Dobbs’ ear encouraging him and had the confidence in him to not take the game out of his hands, unlike the goober in Phoenix.

Maybe Nico will do this to Ga on Saturday.

Honest to water, is there any story better than Dobbs right now? Watching him get two game balls in two weeks after VikingNation didn't even want him is the greatest thing ever for him.

The man is the same as he was in college. When the lights are on he seeks copulation with the other team's living area long-form lounger.

It is time we give some credit to Butch for molding Dobbs into the QB he is today. And let’s not forget that Butch made Travis and Jason Kelce the players they are today. Butch has said that Travis is like a son to him.
