How Josh Dobbs has wowed teammates during his seven-stop NFL journey
Dobbs impresses with smarts but they aren't the only reason he's persevered. Teammates from seven NFL stops share what makes him unique.www.espn.com
Great guy. Ut should be honored to call him an alumni. thats part of the reason he has been able to hang as a backup in the NFL. Not a small feat at all, but it seems he is always a back up. Hopefully this opportunity works out a lot better than the last game.Dobbs is as classy as anybody that ever wore that UT uniform IMO. He loves our VOLS and reps the school well all day, every day. We are lucky to have him.
Butch was dumb to not redshirt him with his degree and growing would have helped. But Dobbs is a iron man who I have never seen hurt.Great guy. Plus, once teams get some film, they can scheme to shut down a QB who may be a little short on NFL talent.Tough past two games for Josh. When you don’t have an off-season with a team you are pretty limited on the play calls he is probably comfortable with and opponents have adapted. Hope he finds a way back to the starting lineup.
That reason is it's the best of the best. Doesn't take NFL teams long to figure a journeyman outFor some reason Dobbs regresses over time. Seems to start out well when he gets a starting nod, but then the more games he plays, the steadily worse he and the offense get. Saw it in Arizona--and now look at Minnesota: No points and the game is nearly over.
