This is the beginning of the end of Alabama. I hope they enjoy the ride of having a new coach ever 3 years and wallow in despair for a generation. Once we beat them at their place next year their fans just won't be able to take it and we will watch them eat their own and show the world their true colors!

I think the best we can hope for with Alabama is ego driven overreactions and decision making by their boosters/NIL wallets—things that will lead to instability in the program long term.

Is Kalen DeBoer the guy? Time will tell. The bigger question is: are the powers that be willing to let things play out so they can make focused, rational decisions? Or are the going to freak out and pull the plug too early, with no solid plan in place?

I hope it’s the second. Because suck it, Bama.

People forget this too easily. They were only good because of Saban and it was a total miracle they got him. Before that they were a total dumpster fire clown show and they would have continued to be one if they hadn't hired Saban. Given how crazy their fans are and how irrational they were 30 years post Bear, it's only reasonable to think everything there will be even more insane immediately post-Saban. On paper they made a great hire but I'm not really impressed with their coach. I saw no brilliance on Saturday. I don't think he has a clue what he got himself into with that job.

I believe Deboer is a terrible hire for Bama, which is great for us.

It was always gonna be tough for Bama replacing Saban.

I just hope Florida, SC and Missouri keep their coaches

DeBoer is a Butch type. Wins at mid-majors and in weak conferences rarely translate to success in the B1G and the SEC. He'll be gone after next season if they have two 8-4ish years in a row.
