With the offense we’re running right now you can. Heupel is running the hell out of the ball and relying on defense.

If it comes down to needing a pass play on 3rd down then we can go to one of our receivers. I’m disgusted with the play on offense the last few weeks just like everybody else, but it seems to me like Heup is trying to transition and not coming out about it.

Need to focus on short passes, dumping it off, and rolling out. Heupel’s offenses spread defenses out so there will be guys in traffic out in the flat, but his normal scheme just is not working and it is time to adjust.

I don't think it's gonna matter what we think Heuple is going to stick with Nico. If he did against Arkansas and today against Florida he is not going to replace him.

Not to make excuses for him but he’s made 7 starts in his career and what was thought to be a decent oline coming into the season has been shotty at best I think they’ve given up like 11 sacks the last 3 games.

Maybe. He’s close. The Brazzell jump ball, the Nimrod throw over the middle. Hit either of those and the game is over in regulation. Overthrew the slant on 3rd that lead to the FG. Overthrew 2 TD passes on the same drive early in the game.

I’m a firm believer that things regress to the mean. So I’m expecting a much better game for Nico next week.

Game managers don’t account for two turnovers, that’s not being a “game manager”.

Offense is putrid.

This isn’t anecdotal, it’s been a statistical certainty this year.

Sampson is carrying the offense right now but I’m not giving up on Nico. He’s going through some growing pains but the talent is there…just hope to see it more consistently going forward. It would be nice if it shows up when we are going to need it most vs bama.
