GM plays just as big a role if not bigger per the roster as well.

And to a further point with Fredi, Hinske should have hit for Diaz with 2nd/3rd and 2 outs in the 6th.

I've already given the take on WHY Constanza is on the roster and it makes perfect sense from a GM standpoint. Fredi put Constanza in the game. Period

If the GM did not want him on the field, he would not be there. So, both Fredi and Wren see something that they like in Constanza right or wrong.

Wren had a window of opportunity this off-season and spring to get a bat and he did not for whatever reason. For me, it's more on him than Fredi.

They are both at fault IMO. Your reasoning is legit as far as being on the 40 man, but damn this cat shouldn't be wearing a major league uniform. (Wren) definitely shouldn't be playing (Frediot)

If Damon were available for less than 4M, he would be on one of several teams right now. Not signing Damon isn't on Wren. Once again, Constanza is going to the minor leagues next week. You are complaining about Wren rostering Constanza for 6 games. I don't see the issue with the GM. We were supposed to sign someone to play for 6 days or just assume Fredi could leave Constanza on the bench for 6 games?

Hinske, Ross, Wilson, Francisco, and Constanza are on the bench. Wren put Constanza in? If you don't understand Fredi made the decision, I don't really know what else to say. This is pretty cut and dry. It's not even that big of a deal anymore. It's one game, it's over, and deep down we all know Fredi sucked and still sucks anyway. I'm now more concerned with your logic.

Not exactly, I had hoped he would had signed a good bat for 162 games sometime during the entire winter.

Here we go again. So we sign this 162 game worthy player. With what money and where does he play? This team is set. None of the regulars are going anywhere.

I still like this team, and perhaps with such a pitching arsenal Wren might pull the trigger in the next couple of months.

I will take pitching prowess over offense everyday, but this team struggles to score three runs. Mighty frustrating.

I'll be interested to see how we do against the knuckleball, and hopefully Jair comes out dealing.

I also wanna see what Francisco can do.
