I will say that, in general, I like Fredi's flexible approach to batting order, especially compared to Cox's super-rigid attitude about it. (How many horrible-hitting backup catchers have we seen batting right in the heart of the order over the years because Bobby didn't want to change anything on Lopez or McCann's day off?) It shouldn't really matter where you hit. Do your job.

But you'd think he could have looked at the schedule and staggered Chipper and McCann's days off, don't you think?

Trading block if it were me. You gotta like what you're getting from Delgado right now. I had rather have him on the bump anyday over JJ. If you market him now, you may get something decent for him. I'm afraid he's really on the decline after the 2nd half of last season and the start of this season.
