Once he got two strikes on Heyward it was over. About all a lefty can do there is guess fastball and hope he's right.

Chapman walks a ton of guys, but if he can learn to consistently get even strike one, he's going to have a really long and lucrative career.

Kinda had to be Barry Bonds to have a chance there.
 
It is a shame cause Chipper was right on him, he just never got a pitch to hit. Chipper has one of the best batter eyes in baseball.

Well, yes. You're an overpowering lefthander against whom LHBs are mostly helpless. You're facing a HOFer batting right-handed, you've got a base open with two outs, and there's a lefty on-deck. You're an idiot if you throw him anything he can hit.

Well, no ****. That's why it was a shame he couldn't get lucky on a mistake. You have already stated Chapman's struggles with accuracy.
