No.. thinking anyone with a blog is a valued source of information is what the internet does.

Said dick status that I mentioned was in no way directed at you (not sure if that’s how it came across, just wanted to make sure it was known it wasn’t meant that way). I just meant that it seems like no matter where on the internet you go about 90% of people’s setting seems to be turned to dickish mode. Not sure why anymore but it still shocks me how many inane or just vanilla comments are immediately met with shltty and snide remarks/responses.

I imagine those three first ballot HOF pitchers were thankful Andruw was behind them, as was Chipper with Andruw batting behind him many of those same years. Pretty sure all four of those guys would not choose Larry Walker over Andruw.

Andruw was the best CF in the game for 10+ years during a time when there were some other pretty good CF. He was the best by a large margin, maybe even the best EVER. He basically played a deep middle infield position. There wasn't room to hit it in front of him. He was so good at going back on the ball that to hit it over him, you usually had to hit it over the fence. And he wasn't an offensive liability. How many guys are in the hall because of their great offensive numbers, but defensively weren't even league average? He deserves to be in.

I'm with you. He hit 400 HRs and he was by far the greatest defensive outfielder most of us are ever going to see. He ought to be in. Meanwhile Larry Walker was basically Lance Berkman, but in Coors Field. Yawn.

Starting to get excited about watching young Ronald Acuna and all these other young guys around Freddie take the field every night.
