Is he waking up hungry or just waking up to be up?

He’ll take milk if you give it to him but that’s not why he’s waking up. Obviously no way to know or not bc he’s isn’t quite able to communicate at a level high enough to tell us yet but apparently, at least with the 2 year version, that’s when they start to have nightmares for the first time (which is not the same thing as night terrors, apparently)

My wife described it very well, she said being a parent is like being a mechanic trying to diagnose a vehicle. One big process of elimination to get to the root of the issue.
