Considering that it's a once in a lifetime thing, so far anyways, I would say you could spend a lot. Up to you to determine how much a lot is.

That's the conundrum, currently trying to decide on what my quality of seat/cost tipping point is. Not worth the effort to only spend $40 and sit in the bleeds but also hard to justify, a month and a half before my wedding/honeymoon, spending many hundreds of dollars to sit down low. But, is half way up the second section on the aisle for a buck and a half justifiable? Also knowing I'm probably not going to see the most exciting player on the team.

If only it was two years ago and I didn't care about anybody else when it came to financial decisions, no stupid "next house" to be looking for, it would be a lot easier to be stupid in this scenario.

Giving him 200 million before he actually puts it all together was not a good idea.... Risky both ways, but hopefully it plays out in our favor.. The Cards will make him play it out as well IMO

He's still worth a significant amount of money because of his elite D/base running and on base skills.

Noch, as someone who has spent such a sum of $$ on grizzlies tickets that I care not put pen to paper on it, GO.

If it were a home game I would say no sum is too much. I've never regretted being at a grizzlies game. I've also sat all over the lower bowl and club (second tier). I have never been to wizards arena, but club level towards center court is absolutely fantastic for viewing the game. Sitting close to the bench is an awesome experience as well but that's where the wedding/honeymoon deal comes into play.

I'm contemplating flying to DC to go with you man ha. Im pumped

Do it.

Curry upgraded to probable for tonight

I was in Baltimore for a work trip once during the Stanley Cup playoffs. I drove a rental car down to DC, bought a single ticket on the street for ~$300, sat in an upper deck end zone seat in the second to last row, watched the Caps lose a heartbreaker, and then had to drive back to Baltimore and be ready for work at 8 am the next day. I never regretted it at all [1]. When you root for a team that you almost never have a chance to see, you've gotta go.

Also, there is an Irish pub on the next block over from the Verizon Center where you can get a nice pint beforehand.

Ticket purchased and heading towards the metro in about 2 hours, should hopefully get there about an hour before tipoff.

This is the view from my section, in Row I, so I assume around 1/3 of the way up from the bottom.

Picture I took from Google for my section was pretty much spot on, looks like it might've been taken about two rows up and one seat to my right. Here's the real thing...
