Unfortunately, I remember. Eddie Haas, Bobby Wine, Chuck Tanner, Russ Nixon, Bobby Cox. Tanner was OK, but the path from Joe Torre to Bobby Cox was a mess.

Yes it was. I'll never understand why Torre was fired. They slipped some in 84, but I don't think he should've been fired.

That was one of the worst mistakes the Atlanta Braves ever made along with trading Brett Butler and Brook Jacoby
