We have a top five farm system and cleared $80M this year. This year will suck but this is not going to take five years.

Agreed. A couple of prospects pan out and then fill holes with free agency and they're back pretty fast. The other plus is that it flushes the bandwagon for the first time in 25 years and I can get good seats.

Pretty sure Jason has looked better offensively in one game in St. Louis than he ever did in Atlanta. If only he could have been bothered to make any changes instead of constantly struggling and wasting our time. #salty.

The Braves have always appeared to be terrible at coaching hitting. I'll be pretty surprised if the Cardinals don't turn him around.

2 more bums to go...

CJ and minor... Only problem is we don't have a guy like Kimbrel to package them with. Zero Value

Not only am I going to be on the road during the first game tomorrow, I'm going to be on the road to frigging Alabama. This sucks.

So what's the 25 man now and what's the lineup look like tomorrow

C: Bethancourt, Pierzynski

IF: Freeman, Peterson, Simmons, CJ, Callaspo

OF: Markakis, EYJ, Maybin, Gomes

U: KJ, Gosselin

SP: Teheran, Wood, Miller, Stultz, Cahill

RP: Avilan, McKirkhan, Canniff, Jaime, Martin

SU: Johnson

CL: Grilli

I don't think the lineup changes, yet, IMO. If/when Young or Gomes falters, Maybin will play more regularly.

Quentin won't ever Chop.

Eventual lineup:

Peterson
Maybin
Markakis
Freeman
CJ/KJ
Gomes/EYJ
Simmons
Bethancourt

Further down the road this season:

Peraza
Peterson
Markakis
Freeman
Simmons
Maybin
Gomes/KJ/EYJ
Bethancourt
