Pedro came in 2nd.

Pudge as the best catcher in the game doing that offensively sealed it up, I guess. But eh. Jeter had a ridiculous year that year, too.

And I have mixed feelings about the Pitcher as MVP thing. But that Pedro season... holy crap.
