Lunardi has us in as an 11 seed right now. We would take on St. Louis. That's a good matchup for Tennessee. I would like our chances.

The #3 seed would be Syracuse in that region. That would be a bad matchup.

I liked the pictures of the football greys until I saw them in a game, and then they looked like a mudslide. Basketball unis will probably be the same.

The ones we wore today were basically a white version of the grey ones we'll wear tomorrow and looked fine IMO. I'm sure the orange version would have looked good too. The logic of what gets people so excited about seeing UT play in uniforms that are predominantly a color that has no significance to UT just continues to escape me.

Eh, people like to change stuff up. (E.g., Mrs Verc gets all excited when we occasionally sit on the other side of the pub. "It's like going to a whole new bar!") I don't care about different uniforms myself, so long as it's occasional enough that there's no question what our "regular" uniform is. I like that the greys are at least not garishly hideous. I don't like that, given my colorblindness, the grey and the orange run together on the field and it just looks dirty. I don't personally like it but I'm not opposed to it, if that makes sense. At least until Nike gets a hold of it.

Speaking of uniform colors, what is everyone's favorite shade of orange?

I like the 90's faded orange the best. I hated the dark, almost reddish orange on the basketball unis a few years ago. I like everything in between.
