This was the actual quote by Martin:

"I'm just happy, but because it's a team game, I'm happy for them and our staff, not necessarily for me personally," Martin said of what the milestone meant to him.

"It's just exciting for the program. Exciting for the fans that have been there through thick and thin and supported us. I'm happy for all of them. You wouldn't believe how many former players, not just in basketball but football, baseball, volleyball, that send letters and e-mails letting us know how much they support our program. So I'm really happy for those that have stuck with us."

When people started giving Rucker ****, he said it wasn't his fault that people didn't realize he was paraphrasing and that people should improve their reading comprehension.

Ouch. Making a quote twice as inflammatory is not paraphrasing. Once upon a time Rucker seemed like an actual journalist.
