I can completely understand how an advanced stats guy would look at us and think: their losses are close losses; their wins are comfortable; they're probably a better team than their record indicates. Sort of like how you have to kind of set aside a baseball team's record in one-run games if you want to figure out how good they really are. Maybe it's even true and I'm just too emotionally involved to know. But it seems pretty clear to me that the basic dynamic of this season has come down to A) we're physically talented enough to overwhelm many teams, and in roll-the-ball-out-there type games, we're going to win, but B) we're too disorganized in the half court to get quality shots and matchups in crunch situations. If it becomes a chess match, we lose. And that just does not bode well at all for the tournament.
