Honestly, I just want it to get here. Not out of dread, but I am having so much fun watching this team. Last week was the best week of UT athletics since 2010 with Weezy.

I'm just so impressed with Richardson. I never expected this kind of offensive output from him.

We don't need that Gentry kid whoever he is.

We got Ferguson for three years, amirite Brown

Your Grizzlies last year were the first team other than a 1 through 4 seed to make the conference finals in 15 years. I mean, look at this.

2013 final four: 1 v 3, 5 v 2
2012 final four: 4 v 2, 1 v 2
2011 final four: 1 v 2, 4 v 3
2010 final four: 4 v 2, 1 v 3
2009 final four: 1 v 3, 1 v 2
2008 final four: 1 v 2, 1 v 3
2007 final four: 1 v 2, 4 v 3
2006 final four: 1 v 2, 4 v 2
2005 final four: 1 v 2, 1 v 2
2004 final four: 1 v 3, 1 v 2
2003 final four: 1 v 3, 1 v 2
2002 final four: 1 v 3, 1 v 3
2001 final four: 1 v 2, 1 v 2
2000 final four: 1 v 3, 1 v 3

I'm not saying it's not fun to watch, and I do, but it's chalk all the way.

Overall your point is true but it definitely doesn't always work out as chalk and one of those times was enough to reestablish a rooting interest for me in the NBA for the first time in years.

I had been an agnostic fan for years with only a passing interest in the NBA ever since the 90's when I was a kid and liked the Bulls because, well just about everybody I knew did, and it was the one sport where I really had no family influence to adopt. The 2007 Warriors - Mavs series was some of the most fun I've ever had watching sports and I was hooked on a team 3,000 miles away from me after it was over.

Either way, Cuonzo has not had a losing season at Tennessee. I have no reason to believe it will next year.

But I'm thinking more 18-13/19-12.

Clips-Warriors hate each other. Would be a great first round matchup.

BTW, never watched that turtle show.

Golden state and Denver didn't go anywhere but it was wildly entertaining.

Yeah, some of the individual series are great fun. All I'm saying is that it's generally so predictable that it limits my enjoyment of the playoffs.

Although the MLB playoffs are almost a complete crapshoot and I can't say I enjoy them that much anymore. At least the NBA crowns one of the best teams as its champion every year. I guess the upshot is that I'm an old man and I don't like anything.

Yep, when i was a kid i remember thinking those teams sucked because they lost 4 Super Bowls in a row. Later i realized how good they really were.
I wasn't a huge Bills fan or anything, but back then you watched whatever game you could get. They were on a lot and I can still name at least 8 guys without going to Google. Ah memories...
