Atlanta Police walkout

Looks like now the pendulum is swinging too far in the opposite direction, now.

Looks like it is time for reason and pragmatism. We can't have full blown authoritarian and untouchable cops nor can you have anarchy. Seems like there is room for a middle ground, but the fops are choosing to either quit or maintain the status quo.

What the hell did you expect a few weeks ago? Unbridled anarchy was bound to happen.

Being in emergency services for over 20 years, a month ago, I couldn't imagine being to the point of throwing my hands up and walking away from not just a job but what is a duty. Now I see what they are going through and the betrayal from those above I have to say I don't blame them. I just pray both for those that choose to walk, and for the safety of those that choose continue standing watch.

Isn't it weird how people just want the cops to stop murdering people and instead they all quit?

Super strange that cops would get bent out of shape for being held accountable. They're usually the most reasonable, rational people in the room.

It’s even more strange that you think that’s all it is
Oh it's not. They also harass and assault people for no reason. They've been given the chance a thousand times over to hold themselves accountable and are unable to do so.

I don't know, I see a dead black guy with holes in his back and another cop behind the trigger.

If that's you or me, we'd be in the same predicament. Can't shoot people fleeing.
