Look man was the basketball stuff not leaked? FBI investigation put the basketball info out there. Is Will Wade, Bill Self, Sean Miller, etc still coaching after being on wire taps? Did the NCAA not get the FBI paperwork? WAKE THE F*** UP!!! UT has always been cowards from the Bruce Pearl firing on down. Who do you think leaked the information? Let me guess you or I leaked it. Oh no Bama leaked it, maybe Peyton leaked it, no maybe a recruit told on the man that paid them. No man she and ppl around her leaked it in a bush league way to find cause. Stop being naive.

Plowman and the administration didn’t leak it IMO.
Disgruntled Boosters, maybe ? Someone Pruitt ticked off in the Athletic Dept, maybe ? Some have reported Tee may have done it.

It’s always fine to argue and state your opinion, of course, but you saying de1 has a distorted view of reality is hilarious. He lives this world far more than most of us.

Nobody wants to admit this. Being and playing a victim to save money is a joke. I keep saying it and will keep on saying it, the way this was handled and the things said by Plowman in the presser was one of the most embarrassing moments to date as a UT fan of over 30 year. As far as who told I’ve been told from a good source who it was but don’t care to elaborate on that anymore. Many of the calls we have garnered about our kids in the 22 class were laughs at why the hell would they allow that woman to go on air and say some of that crap. Do they think anyone will trust that administration, how silly was she when she wrote that, why tell on yourself, and so on were a few quotes. There is a revolving door at UT for unequal ppl in admin positions from little brothers of the poor and places that hv no athletic prowess of the real P5 level places. They don’t understand recruiting, building, etc.

Yes I do I train kids and hv done this over 15 yrs. Many on here know this but just want to be contrarians and argue because they’re naive and believe in everything that UT does is good. The problem was and is now you have idiots as boosters who argued about the hire of CJP, then he wasn’t an ass kisser and didn’t just walk around with his nose in their butts which rubbed some of the, the wrong way. There was not 1 whistle blower at all, but a few. The fools thought Freeze would come here after that debacle and from a personal source the SEC said NO but he also was hesitant due o the public display that went on from the leak to the press conference and saw sentiments of Ole Miss. We have several kids being recruited and offered by him and his staff as well as every P5 team in the country. The way UT operated was disgusting and bush league.

Personally I think he’s making some really great points...points with substance, proof, and experience. A bit sad he is hating on Plowman just bc I like her but I think a lot of what he is saying is right. Actually I know a lot of what he is saying is right.

I worked in college athletics and he’s far more spot on than the many posters who hate on him.

He didn't recruit great at TN. He recruited good. His top 2 recruiting classes both had over 29 signees. His would be classified in the more is not better category.

I don’t know what should have been done to field competitive athletics but in this day and age where things are fine then all of a sudden they aren’t she did what will be perceived as right now and down the road thereby protecting the university and in doing so did her job.

As a UT fan you were more embarrassed by a press conference than you were by losing to Ga St? Or getting blown out in every single one of our rivalry games? Or getting ran off the field by the University of Kentucky....KENTUCKY......in FOOTBALL? Or by being manhandled by an Ark team that hadn’t won a conference game in 2 years?

NCAA is a joke. I’m not worried at all about the sanctions. I bet if we reduce a few scholarships and bowl ban, that will be it. I’m hoping they did all this to save a buyout but know to compete with the big boys, you have to bend the rules. They can’t be that stupid. But it was beyond dumb to invite the NCAA. I wonder if Pruitt was 7-3 if any of this had even happened. I don’t think it does.
