Auburn and their “coaching search”

Why? The bar is low at Kentucky. Hell Stoops could retire there. He will if he’s smart. The difference in pay isn’t worth the amount of BS that goes with the Auburn job.

Kiffin or Freeze would be perfect choices for Auburn.

I agree about Stoops. However, this was supposed to be his best team arguably with Levis..... It was also weird how the football vs basketball school argument started in the headlines....After 4-6 weeks of football, it is clear UK is a basketball school. Stoops seems like he could be getting tired of UK. His stock is prolly as hot as it will ever be with our resurgence and UF seeming to look somewhat capable under Napier.

I don't think Freeze or Kiffin are touching Auburn at all. There is no incentive for Kiffin to move to Auburn from Ole Miss. Freeze will have options as seasons go on.

I agree with you i think Mark Stoops will leave Kentucky for Auburn if Auburn offers a lot of cash. I think he will leave because i think Kentucky will regress in 2023 back to 4-6 wins having to fit in a new quarterback.

If he wants to compete for a national title, he needs to leave Kentucky. I just don't think Auburn (where they have no patience) is the solution.

I could see him working out at Nebraska. NIL money has changed the game on recruiting and Nebraska may be able to pull in bigger recruits now. But he needs to go somewhere that has the rare combination of (a) having patience and (b) can still compete for a national title. Somewhere like Virginia Tech would be interesting for him if that comes open again; but at this point VT may not even be able to offer as much money as Kentucky.
Oklahoma.
